Chief Judge Belvin Perry, who is logging a lot of hours on camera in the Casey Anthony trial, will be a guest on “Flashpoint” this weekend. And the topic will not be that case.

“The show is mostly about the cuts in mental health funding and substance abuse programs,” host Lauren Rowe of WKMG-Channel 6 said in an e-mail. “Chief Judge Perry talks mostly about the fact that cutting funding for treatment for adults and other programs will mean more people in our jails and hospital emergency rooms. We also discuss the impact these cuts could have on community safety and the ecnomy.”

The program airs at 8:30 a.m. Sunday on WKMG. The other guests are Joe Mendoza from the National Alliance on Mental Illness Greater Orlando and Maj. Patricia Wells from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
