Prosecutors are expected to ask the judge if they can use their own mental health experts to interview Casey. They don't want defense doctors to testify about Casey's mental evaluations. Prosecutors think the witnesses in question would simply pass on testimony from Casey without her being on the stand.One option for the judge is the state doing its own mental evaluation of Casey before trial begins.
