Jurors in the Casey Anthony murder case could end up seeing photographs of her at a nightclub and a tattoo she got while her toddler was missing.
Those were some of the rulings issued Friday as Orange-Osceola Chief Judge Belvin Perry pondered whether to allow certain evidence be offered at the trial scheduled to start May 9. Anthony, 25, is accused of killing 2-year-old daughter Caylee Marie in the summer of 2008.
Prosecutors recently notified Casey Anthony's defense team of hundreds of photos they hope to present. On Friday, defense attorney Jose Baez argued why he wanted some of those pictures to stay out of the jury's view.
Among those was a photograph of Anthony's tattoo, "La Bella Vita," an Italian expression for "The Beautiful Life" or "The Good Life;" along with photographs investigators took of heart-shaped stickers found at the Anthony family home in east Orange County.
Those photographs of stickers could have significance because an FBI investigator reported seeing heart-shaped residue on duct-tape found with daughter Caylee's remains.
