Saskatoon Police are requesting assistance from the public in locating a missing 16 year old girl.

Taylor Kristan Gardypie, 16 years old, was reported missing to police after she failed to return to her residence, located in the 300 block of Ash Street, on Friday, January 28, 2011. Since this time she has contacted members of her family and is believed to be staying with friends however the police have yet to locate her to confirm she is safe.

Taylor Gardypie is described as 5'5" tall and 125 lbs with shoulder length black hair and brown eyes. She is known to wear coloured contacts and has a piercing through her right eyebrow. Taylor Gardypie was last seen wearing a blue and white Columbia winter jacket, dark blue jeans and running shoes.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Taylor Gardypie is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 975-8300.

October 4, 2011 - Police have located a missing 16 year old girl.

Taylor Kristan Gardypie, 16 years old, was located on Friday, September 30th and found to be safe. Taylor Gardypie was originally reported missing to police after she failed to return to her residence, located in the 300 block of Ash Street, on January 28, 2011. Since this time she has been in contact with members of her family however the police were not able to locate her to confirm her safety.

The Saskatoon Police Service would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance in this matter.
