ORLANDO -- Tuesday's rulings in the case against Casey Anthony appeared to be a big win for the state.
Just weeks before the trial is scheduled to start, Chief Judge Belvin Perry handed down several key rulings, allowing scientific evidence against Casey to be heard by a jury, despite the defense's claims that the science may be questionable.

The science portion of Casey Anthony's trial is extremely important, but very technical. Fussell said the state will have to weigh each item and decide if it's all necessary to the case against Casey.
"The further they reach and stretch to put on a case, the more it looks like they're grasping at straws," said Fussell, "and a lot of this stuff is kind of on the edge."
