"BABY LANCASTER" - 5 Months - Memphis TN

MEMPHIS, TN -
(WMC-TV) - A Germantown woman who claims to be the daughter of music legend Jerry Lee Lewis was arrested and charged with killing her five-month-old child.
Germantown Police charged Lori Lancaster with criminally negligent homicide after her infant died earlier this week.
According to the Commercial Appeal, Lancaster took muscle relaxants hours before she was discovered lying on top of her five-month-old son, who was apparently smothered. The child was taken to Methodist Germantown Hospital.
Lancaster's mother was Jerry Lee Lewis' fourth wife Jaren Gunn. The couple planned to divorce when Lancaster was 10 years old.
Two weeks before the divorce was final, Gunn drowned in a swimming pool.
Lewis says Lancaster is not his daughter.
The Germantown Police Department would not elaborate on the charges.

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Lori Lewis aka Lori Lancaster, alleged daughter to Jerry Lee Lewis, has been arrested. Lori Lewis is the daughter of Jaren Gunn who was Jerry Lee Lewis’ fourth wife. In 1982, Lewis and Gunn commenced their divorce. On the eve of the divorce being finalized, Gunn died in a swimming pool accident; Lori Lewis was ten at the time.
Lori Lewis has since tried to reconnect with Lewis who in recent years has denied being her father.
Today, she was charged with criminally negligent homicide. Lewis was found unconscious on top of her five month old son Wednesday. Lewis remains in custody tonight on $100,000 bail.
The complaint against Lewis claims, that, when investigators arrived at her home yesterday afternoon, they found Lewis “lying in bed with her legs on the floor and her torso area on the bed and underneath her stomach was (the infant)”.
They added that Lewis allegedly was “clearly impaired and also in close proximity to her unresponsive 5-month old (son)…. She was clearly unresponsive is the best way to describe it.” Police are investigating use of Soma Carisoprodol by Lewis hours earlier.
A daughter of Jerry Lee Lewis, Phoebe Lewis, claims that Gunn was pregnant already with another man’s baby at the time she married Jerry Lee Lewis.
