Jury Selection Crawls Along For Murder Trial

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Jury selection crawled along Thursday for the Casey Anthony murder trial, with the process moving along at only a tenth the pace that Judge Belvin Perry expected.

With only a handful of the 69 retained jurors interviewed, Perry may have to push back the trial's scheduled start or change his strategy to get the jury seated by Tuesday.

Thursday afternoon, Perry sent home most of the jurors he'd called back for more questioning today, promising to manage time better Friday.

"My apologies. If you want to blame anyone or be angry with anyone, I'm the one you need to be angry with," Perry told the group.
