Casey Anthony trial on ‘Flashpoint’; Buddy Dyer on ‘The Agenda’

WKMG-Channel 6’s “Flashpoint” will turn to the Casey Anthony trial this weekend. The program, moderated by anchor Lauren Rowe, airs at 8:30 a.m. Sunday. Rowe’s guests will be reporter Tony Pipitone and legal analyst Mark O’Mara.
WFTV-Channel 9 is offering specials on the Anthony case at 7 p.m. Saturdays. Those programs recap the week’s news, preview the coming week in court and will continue for the trial’s duration.
“The Agenda” will talk to Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer about his plan to run for another term and the latest news on the Downtown Performing Arts Center. Another guest is retiring Orlando Police Chief Val Demings, who talks about her future. The program airs at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday on Central Florida News 13, which is available to customers of Bright House Networks.
“Facing Florida” looks at Gov. Rick Scott’s sliding poll numbers. Moderator Mike Vasilinda talks to the program’s political experts, Screven Watson and Pete Dunbar. The program airs at 12:30 p.m. Sunday on WFTV.
“Central Florida Spotlight” will offer a rerun at 12:30 p.m. Saturday on WFTV. The show is a debate about SunRail between proponent Aaron Gorovitz and opponent Matthew Falconer.
