ORLANDO, Fla. -- A Orange County Sheriff's Office K-9 handler testified Tuesday that his dog not only alerted on Casey Anthony’s vehicle in 2008, but also in the backyard of the Anthony home on Hope Spring Drive.

Prosecutors spent much of the day going through the qualifications of Deputy Jason Forgey’s then German shepard, Gerus. Gerus retired in 2010.

Prosecutors quizzed Forgey on Gerus’ training and record in finding remains over the past few years.

Jurors saw video taken from a helicopter of Gerus searching for remains in the dark. The dog displayed his final alert signal -- a sit and glance at his handler.
