Casey Anthony Trial Update: Jury could get case next week, says judge

(CBS/WKMG/AP) ORLANDO, Fla. - The murder trial of Casey Anthony, who's accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, will resume today with the prosecution set to wrap its case up by Tuesday or Wednesday, according to Judge Belvin Perry, and the defense to possibly conclude by next Saturday.

Perry did note that the time line is subject to change, reports CBS affiliate WKMG.

Court recessed early on Monday with the state calling only a pair of FBI forensics experts. Court let out early because the prosecution's next witness wasn't scheduled to arrive in town until early Tuesday afternoon. State attorneys say that they are ahead of schedule and the defense could be able to call its first witness Wednesday.
