Casey Anthony Defense: Beginning of the End

The Defense has been consistent throughout the trial, as Jose Baez has been since he first took over the case.

Caylee Anthony died 3 years ago, and a little over a month later, her mother lied about the murder, and hired a liar to defend her.

Jose Baez jumped at the case, took a quarter of a million dollars up front, and for the next 3 years, has been consistent in his behavior.

He has done nothing. He has done nothing but bluff.

For 3 years he has made stupendous claims telling us things that would appear to be answers to lingering questions, and even used his machismo swagger to say that he would back up those claims. He promised answers.

Each and ever time, for 3 years running, he stood confidently before the cameras telling us, first and often, that Caylee was alive and would be found.

Like a novice poker player, he could not contain the elements of his bluff and looked foolish. In the past 3 years, he has done nothing but bluff and look foolish.

Today was the chance to prove that his opening statement, that Caylee died an accidental drowning death and that Casey didn't report it out of fear of her molesting father and brother, and that Roy Kronk moved the body...all came to the point where Baez could finally show his cards.
