ORLANDO, Fla. -- A day after surprising prosecutors with her testimony, the mother of Casey Anthony, who is accused of killing her daughter, Caylee, was again called to testify.

Lead defense attorney Jose Baez called Cindy Anthony to the stand on Friday -- day 27 of her daughter's murder trial -- and asked her about a pair of shorts found in the woods near Caylee's remains.

The state quickly objected, prompting Judge Belvin Perry to call a sidebar.

Baez then questioned Cindy Anthony about Caylee's size, and she said Caylee was growing quickly in 2008. Baez also showed her a picture of the backyard pool at the Anthony family home and a pool ladder.

Unlike Thursday, Cindy and Casey Anthony both cried during questioning.
