Cindy Becomes Emotional While Testifying In Casey Trial

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Casey Anthony's mother, Cindy Anthony, became visibly upset while on the stand during Casey's murder trial on Friday.

Casey is charged with killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony. Friday marks day 38, including jury selection, in Casey's murder trial.

Casey entered the courtroom just after 8:50 a.m., wearing a button-down shirt and pants. She had her hair pulled back in a tight, braided bun.

Court was called to order promptly at 9 a.m. and the defense called Cindy Anthony to the stand. Casey's lead attorney, Jose Baez began questioning Cindy Anthony about the shorts Caylee was found in when her remains were discovered. Prosecutor Linda Drane-Burdick objected, claiming relevance and the judge and attorneys entered a brief sidebar.

Cindy Anthony began to tear up as the court was shown a video of Casey and Caylee playing on the ground.
