Columbia girl missing after trip to Activity and Recreation Center

COLUMBIA — Sixteen-year-old Diamond Dunn has been missing since a
trip Tuesday with her brother to the Activity and Recreation Center.
Dunn is 6 feet 1 inch tall, African-American and 180 pounds with
shoulder-length black hair, according to a Columbia Police Department
news release. She was last seen wearing a blue and white striped
shirt and ripped jeans and carrying a pink purse, according to the
release.

Dunn's mother said the siblings left for the center at 3:30 p.m
Tuesday, according to the release. Dunn's brother last saw her at the
center around 6:30 p.m., according to the release.
According to the release, Dunn may be with a 23-year-old man
called Jay. He was described as being African-American with very short
hair, medium complexion and a lean body type. He was believed to be
driving a silver Dodge Charger, according to the release.
Dunn has no prior history of running away, according to the release.

Missing teenager returns home

Columbia police say a 16-year-old girl reported missing by her
mother returned home around 12:30 p.m. Saturday. She was unharmed.

Columbia police sent out information about Diamond Dunn on Friday.
Yesterday, police said officers and detectives continue to investigate
after Diamond’s return.

Officers took a report at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday that Diamond was
missing. Her mother said the teen went with her brother to the Activity
& Recreation Center at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. The mother said the girl’s
brother last saw her at the ARC around 6:30 p.m.

Police had said Dunn might be with a 23-year-old black male called Jay, who was believed to drive a silver Dodge Charger.
