ORLANDO, Fla. -- An eBay bidding war drove the price of a Casey Anthony mask up by more than $24,000 since Tuesday afternoon.

It may be the scariest Halloween costume for 2011 -- a life-like Casey Anthony latex mask.

On Tuesday afternoon, the mask was fetching just under $200. By Wednesday morning, the highest bid stood at $24,300.

"Forget Freddy, Jason (and) Meyers," the mask's seller says on eBay.

On Tuesday afternoon, the mask was fetching just under $200. By Wednesday morning, the highest bid stood at $24,300. In the end, 41 bidders drove the price to nearly $1 million.

Whether the unknown seller will actually pay that amount is not clear.
