ORLANDO, Fla. -- In a news conference Wednesday, a Department of Corrections spokeswoman said Casey Anthony is expected to check in before 10 a.m. on Thursday.
Gretl Plessinger said Anthony must check in with the probation office unless a new court order is issued.
The conference was held just moments after Judge Stan Strickland removed himself from the case. The department said Strickland stepping down does not affect the probation.
"If she does not check in by 10 a.m. tomorrow, we'll notify the court," Plessinger said.
