Casey Anthony won’t be at a Friday morning hearing in Orlando about her probation for check fraud.

She doesn’t have to be there, and she won’t be there, WKMG-Channel 6’s Tony Pipitone reported.

Chief Judge Belvin Perry late today stayed an amended order, signed by Judge Stan Strickland, that Anthony must report for probation by 10 a.m. Thursday. People interested in Casey sightings must settle for those TMZ shots of Anthony in Ohio.

Anthony can remain in hiding for now, WESH-Channel 2’s Greg Fox reported. “But Judge Perry’s stay does not mean Anthony will never have to serve probation,” Fox added. “It merely means she is not under a deadline this week to report.”

Pipitone said, “She may not have to come back to Orange County unless the judge does order her to serve probation.”

The state attorney’s office agrees with Anthony’s defense team that she completed serving probation for check fraud, Pipitone reported. “Unless Judge Perry orders the assistant state attorneys to appear in his courtroom Friday for this emergency hearing, the state table will be empty,” Pipitone said.

And what of those photos of Anthony, the first since she walked out of Orange County Jail on July 17?

Producer Dax Holt of TMZ told WOFL-Channel 35 that his company got the paparazzi photos from an agency that found Anthony walking about streets in Ohio, stopping at a store and wearing a hat. “She’s definitely trying to keep a low profile,” Holt said. “She’s got the hat on, the glasses, not wanting to stand out.”

Anthony was acquitted July 5 of first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee. Holt said he definitely believed it was Anthony in the photos.

WOFL anchor Bob Frier drew attention to the OU cap Anthony was wearing. “She has that OU hat on, but I would say O no you didn’t,” Frier said. “That’s a bad joke.”
