16-Year-Old Dundalk Girl Reported Missing

Chelsea Teresa Sadecki was last seen at approximately 10 a.m. Sunday morning.





A Dundalk teen has been missing for four days, according to the
Maryland Center for Missing Children, a unit of the Maryland State Police.

Chelsea Marie Sadecki, 16, was last seen at approximately 10 a.m., Sunday.

"She is still currently missing and has not been located," Carla
Proudfoot, director of the Maryland Center for Missing Children, said Thursday afternoon.

Sadecki is 5-foot-3 inches, 120 pounds, according to a poster
published online on the National Center for Missing & Exploited
Children's website. She is further described as having hazel eyes and
blonde hair, below shoulder length, "usually worn straightened or up in a
scrunchie." She has a scar in the middle of her forehead.

According to the poster, Sadecki turns 17 Friday. She may frequent
the Rosedale/Overlea area, the Dundalk/Sparrows Point area or Harford County.

The poster was created at the request of the teenager's family, Proudfoot said.

"At this point, she is not listed as critical because there is no
indication of foul play," Proudfoot said. "She's listed as an endangered
runaway simply because of her age and the length of time, over 24
hours, immediately puts her in danger."

Baltimore City police in the Southeastern District are handing the investigation.

"If anyone sees her, they should call the Baltimore City police or 911," Proudfoot said.

Update (5:11 p.m.) A Dundalk teen missing for five
days has been found and returned to her family, the Maryland Center for
Missing Children, a unit of the Maryland State Police, confirmed Friday
afternoon.


Chelsea Marie Sadecki, 16, had last been seen at approximately 10 a.m., Sunday.


"She has been located, confirmed by the family and law
enforcement," Carla Proudfoot, director of the Maryland Center for
Missing Children, wrote in an email to Patch Friday afternoon.
