Endangered person advisory issued for missing St. Louis girl

(KMOV.com) -- The St. Louis County Police
Department has issued an endangered person alert for an 11-year-old St.
Louis girl who went missing Saturday afternoon.

Ashley Hedtkamp, 11, was reported missing from her home in 3600 block
of Ashwell Drive in south St. Louis near Marlborough around 2 p.m.
Authorities said she left a note for her guardian stating she was going
for a walk to a Seven Eleven store, but never returned home.

Hedtkamp is described as a white female, approximately 5'4" and weighs
120 pounds. She has brown hair with blonde highlights and hazel eyes.

Anyone who sees Hedtkamp or knows anything about her whereabouts is
asked to call 911 or contact the nearest law enforcement agency. You
can also call the St. Louis County Police Department at 314-615-5360.

Officer Rick Eckhard said Ashley Hedtkamp, 11, who had been
missing since Saturday, was found about 7:30 p.m. at a friend's
house.
