Casey Anthony: Is Jose Baez the best go-to legal person? Did Cindy send Casey a love letter?

Is Jose Baez a great attorney? What was Cindy Anthony trying to tell her daughter through a “Dr. Phil” interview? Is the marriage of George and Cindy Anthony doomed?
The talk on those topics ranged from witty to exasperated to over-the-top today.
Baez has been hired to serve an advisory role in the case of Gary Giordano, who has been jailed in Aruba in the disappearance of Robyn Gardner.
Sunny Hostin of “In Session” raved about Baez this afternoon on CNN. ”At this point and time, Jose Baez is really the new Johnnie Cochran,” Hostin said. “If you’re guilty and you want to go home, you hire Jose Baez. If you’re in trouble, you want the best go-to person in the criminal-justice system. Right now, that person is Jose Baez.”
Hostin added that Baez “had the experience of a lifetime” from the Anthony case.
Early in the day, on “The View,” ABC’s Dan Abrams was far more critical. He said that hiring Baez in Giordano’s case “was one of the all-time dumbest moves ever.”
Abrams asked: “Is the person you want in the United States representing you going on television the person who just represented Casey Anthony?”
Hostin, who was a guest on that show, defended Baez as “a great attorney.” Abrams registered his shock with his face and said, “Really?”
Abrams also tweeted: “Giordano hiring Jose Baez would be like Twitter hiring Anthony Weiner. .they both have relevant experience.” Abrams also blasted Baez for a couple of reasons: “a) he is currently reviled by much of the public b) he is not a good lawyer. lose lose.”
Abrams predicted that the state of Florida and Zenaida Gonzalez will have trouble getting “significant damages” from Anthony. He said the state will have problems because Anthony was acquitted of murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee.
The Anthony family drama, which continued to play out today on “Dr. Phil,” was drawing more analysis on WOFL-Channel 35. The station aired Dr. Phil McGraw’s interview with George and Cindy Anthony, Casey’s parents.
Legal analyst Diana Tennis said that Cindy was sending a love letter to Casey through the TV interview. Tennis said Cindy was saying: ”I don’t know where you are. Your lawyers have kept us apart, but I am ready to forgive. I’m over it, let’s move on.’ ”
Tennis said the interview was “clearly Cindy asking her daughter to come back to her.”
Tennis was amazed that George and Cindy Anthony were sharing their differences about Caylee’s death before a national TV audience. “I don’t know what they’ve been talking about for three years,” Tennis said. “I don’t know how this relationship tolerates her [Cindy] writing a blank check basically to Casey.”
Body language expert Susan Constantine told WOFL that George and Cindy Anthony had come to a fork in the road. Constantine saw disgust in George about being in Cindy’s presence. “The relationship is at a dead end, it’s going to go over, it’s not going to last,” Constantine predicted.
