ADAM RATTINER - 37 yo - Connecticut Valley/ Middletown CT

State police have issued a “Silver Alert” for a patient who ran away
from Connecticut Valley Hospital on Wednesday morning during a
supervised medical treatment transport.


Police are searching for Adam Rattiner, 37, who is white, 5-feet,
9-inches tall and weighs 219 pounds. When last seen Rattiner was wearing
blue jeans, a blue shirt and a Yankees baseball cap. Police also
described Rattiner as having “salt and pepper” colored hair.


State and Middletown police were involved in the search for Rattiner
throughout the day on Wednesday. Police said they don’t know if Rattiner
is still in the area.


Jim Siemianowski, a spokesman for the Department of Mental Health
& Addiction Services, said Rattiner left the CVH campus grounds
around 10:30 a.m. Citing patient privacy laws, Siemianowski said he
could not say whether Rattiner was a court-committed patient, but said
he was not under the jurisdiction of the state’s Psychiatric Review
Board, which oversees patients deemed criminally insane by the courts.


“We’re just saying this is an individual in need of treatment. The
public should be cautious and if they see anything suspicious they
should contact the police.”

Missing patient found after 7 week absence

Conn. (WTNH) - State police were searching for a 37-year-old male who
walked away from the Connecticut Valley Hospital on Wednesday, Oct. 12.
Adam
Rattiner, 37, is a white male with salt and pepper colored hair and
hazel-colored eyes. He is about 5'9" tall and weighs about 219 pounds.
On Nov. 28, he was located. No other details were released by police.
