CANADA • Savannah (Jade) WILLIAMS-BAKER, 17 ~ Nanaimo BC

October 19, 2011 - The Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 17 year old Nanaimo female.



Savannah “Jade” WILLIAMS-BAKER was reported missing by her father on the Monday October 17th. She has not been seen by him since October 12th when he left for work at 7:30 AM . Her father told police it was not uncommon for his daughter to not check in with him for one or two days ,however, after not hearing from her all weekend he decided on Monday it was time to involve the police.

Her parents have contacted her friends to no avail and have left many private messages on her Facebook account, which seems to be inactive. RCMP School Liaison Officers are involved and have confirmed WILLIAMS-BAKER attends Grade 12 at Wellington High School and has not been seen at the school since Thursday October 13th at lunch hour.



Her parents are extremely concerned but are hopeful they will hear from her soon. There are no drug and or alcohol issues and no history of her leaving home. ”Both her mother and father and extended family are desperate for any word from Savannah or one of her friends to let them know she is safe,” said Constable Gary O’Brien, media spokesperson for the Nanaimo RCMP.

WILLIAMS-BAKER is 5 ft 5, 115 pounds, has long straight blonde shoulder length hair and blue eyes. She has a nose and lip ring and usually wears a black leather jacket, jeans and black boots.

Nanaimo RCMP say they have located missing 17-year-old Savannah Williams-Baker, and returned her to her father's home.
