November 1, 2011 - The Saskatoon Police Service is requesting assistance in a missing person investigation.

Foul play is not suspected. The missing youth is believed to be with family members but police have been unable to locate her.

Sixteen year old Shanna Morin was reported missing on October 3, 2011 when she failed to return to the home in which she was residing in the 500 block of Avenue S South.



Shanna Morin is described as being of First Nations descent, 5'7" in height, 130 lbs, with brown shoulder length hair, a heart tattoo on her left thumb, and a scar on her right upper arm.

She was last seen wearing blue pants, a grey shirt, a green Columbia jacket, grey shoes and carrying a black purse.

Police have located a missing 16 year old girl.

Shanna Morin, 16 years old, was located yesterday by officers and found to be safe. Shanna Morin was reported missing on October 3, 2011, when she failed to return to the home in which she was residing in the 500 block of Avenue S South.

The Saskatoon Police Service would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance in this matter.
