November 16, 2011 - Saskatoon Police are requesting public assistance in locating a missing 16 year old girl.



Sophie Weeseekase was reported missing after she failed to return to her residence in the 500 block of 25th Street East on October 23, 2011. She has since been active on a social networking site, however Police have been unable to locate her.

She is described as a female of First Nations descent, 5'6" in height, 140 lbs, with brown eyes and dark brown hair. No clothing description is available.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Sophie Weeseekase is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

The Saskatoon Police Service has located the subjects of two separate missing persons investigations.

Sophie Weeseekase, 16 years old, had been reported missing on October 23, 2011, after failing to return to her residence.

Leah Janelle Parker, 15 years old, had been reported missing on
November 21, 2011, when she failed to return to her residence.
