Authorities are searching for a 14-year-old Lake Elsinore girl who reportedly ran away from home this weekend.

“Jenny” Gonzalez was last seen around noon on Saturday in the area of
Lincoln and Riverside Drive with a man named “DJ.”

area of Lincoln Street and Riverside Drive with a man named “DJ,”
according to sheriff’s Sgt. Patrick Chavez in a police report.

The girl’s family reported her as a runaway Sunday morning, he said in the report.

“Investigators determined after speaking with family members that
this was out of the ordinary for Jenny, and the family was becoming
increasingly concerned for her welfare,” Chavez said in the report.

Authorities are asking anyone with information on the teen’s
whereabouts to call the Lake Elsinore Police Department at 951-245-3300.

A Lake Elsinore girl who ran away from home Saturday was found safe, authorities said today.

America “Jenny” Gonzalez was found Monday evening and returned to her family, according to a police report.
