Amber Alert issued for missing Solano County girl

SOLANO COUNTY, CA - An Amber Alert was issued for missing Solano County teen, Christina Almanza on Friday around 11:26 a.m. PST

Almanza is described as a 17-years-old, hispanic, female, 5'7" tall, weighing 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Reportedly she was last seen driving a 1999 navy Blue Oldsmobile
Silhouette minivan, with a California license plate of 4EBS066.

According to the Solano County Sheriff's Department, a voicemail was
left on a family member's cell phone by the victim saying that she was
being held against her will by multiple male suspects. Deputies also
said she was possibly with three other girls, known only by their first
names of Christina, Jessica and Marta, who were also being held against
their will.

An Amber alert was issued for missing Solano County teen, Christina Almanza on Friday around 11:26 a.m.

According to the Solano County Sheriff's Department, a voicemail was
left on a family member's cell phone by the victim saying Almanza was
being held against her will by multiple male suspects. Deputies also
said she was possibly with three other girls, known only by their first
names of Christina, Jessica and Marta, who were also being held against
their will.

Two people have been taken into custody.

Police Say California Teen Faked Elaborate Kidnapping Story

VALLEJO, Calif. – A Sacramento-area teenager is facing charges after allegedly faking an elaborate kidnapping story via text messages and voice mails, Fox40 reports.

Christina Almanza, 17, was the subject of an Amber Alert after she was reported missing from her home last Thursday.

Almanza sent her family members disturbing texts and voice mails claiming she was being held with other girls in a possible sex ring. She even hinted that she had witnessed a girl being killed.

Police found Almanza in a home with two other people the next day, including a man she apparently met via social media.

Almanza is believed to have a two-year-old child, and may be pregnant again. Police suspect she may have faked the kidnapping so her parents would not be upset about her second pregnancy.

She is charged with filing a false police report.
