Missing Blanchard Woman Possible Victim Of Foul Play
OKLAHOMA CITY -
Oklahoma City Police are asking the public to help find a woman who disappeared and may be in danger.
Jaymie Adams, 25, was last seen leaving her
Blanchard home the night of Friday, December 9. She was going to the
area of Interstate 40 and Douglas in Midwest City.
Adams' husband, Justin, found her van Saturday
morning at the McDonald's at 9000 S.E. 29th Street. According to a
police report, he called police and asked officers to help him get into
the locked vehicle.
Officers refused because Justin Adams could not
prove he owned the vehicle, but they asked him what was going on. He
told them his wife had originally planned to go the store around 11 p.m.
Friday, but later called him and said she was going to meet a friend at
the McDonald's. He said he last heard from Jaymie Adams around 12:45
a.m. Saturday when she texted him that she'd reached the fast food
restaurant.
According to police, Justin Adams said several
times he didn't know who his wife was going to meet. He told officers
he tried to call her cell phone, but all his calls went to voicemail.
Adams said he drove to the McDonald's at 5 a.m. and found his wife's
2004 Chrysler Town & Country sitting in the parking lot. He then
called police.
Police believe Jaymie Adams may be a victim of
foul play. She was last seen wearing a zip-up brown jacket, black and
white checkered shirt, dark blue jeans and white Nikes with a pink
swoosh.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts should immediately call 911.

Oklahoma man says his missing wife may have connection to prostitution
Justin Adams, whose wife, Jaymie, was reported missing Dec. 10,
says the Oklahoma woman may have been involved in prostitution on
Craigslist.
BLANCHARD — The husband of a missing pregnant woman said his wife was using Craigslist to meet other men and may have been engaged in prostitution, the man's lawyer told The Oklahoman.Jaymie Adams, 25, was reported missing by her husband at 5 a.m. Dec. 10, according to an Oklahoma City police report.
The pregnant woman's husband, Justin Adams, is the last known person to see her alive.
The couple were married in February, court records show.
Irven Box,
the husband's attorney, said his client initially was leery of speaking
with police because Jaymie Adams was “involved with some kind of online
prostitution ... on Craiglist, I think.”
“He was trying to protect her, initially,
because of that,” Box said of his client. “But yes, we think all of this
may have to do with Craigslist ... or someone she met there."Jennifer Wardlow, an Oklahoma City police spokeswoman, said the department couldn't comment on the potential Craigslist connection.
“It's not something we can talk about right now,” she said.
According to the missing persons report filed Dec. 10 by Justin Adams, his wife was going to the McDonald's restaurant at SE 29 and Douglas to meet “a friend,” some time after 11 p.m. Dec. 9.
Text message
When asked by police who his wife was meeting, Justin Adams told the responding officer that he didn't know.
He said Jaymie Adams sent a text message to him when she arrived at the restaurant but that was the last he heard from her.
According
to the officer who took the report on the morning of Dec. 10, Justin
Adams became “very agitated when I asked him further questions” about
who his wife was meeting at the McDonald's.
“Just leave,” he reportedly told the officer. “I'll have somebody else make the report.”
Justin Adams has been seen on TV since reporting his wife, pleading for her safe return.
A Facebook page also has been set up to help find the mother of three.
Close look
Box said spouses usually get a very close look when their other half goes missing. He said Justin Adams hired him after police questioned his client “for five or so hours” shortly after Jaymie Adams' disappearance.
“He
was upset with the accusations being made against him,” Box said. “But
any time there's a disappearance of a wife, experience tells us the
first person to go see is the husband — the one that's closest to them.”
As
for the police, Wardlow said there's no evidence at this point that a
crime has even been committed against Jaymie Adams, although she did
acknowledge that “it's very possible that she met with foul play.”
“Foul
play is definitely a possibility because, from what her family said,
she would never pack up and leave her family like that,” she said.
“That's why, initially, we said she could've met with foul play, and
that continues to be possible.”

MISSING JAMIE ADAMS CASE TREATED AS HOMICIDE
There has been an update to the missing person's case of
Jaymie Adams. She went missing in early December from Oklahoma when she
decided to go meet a friend at the local McDonald's restaurant. She left
her children and husband behind. When she arrived at McDonald's, she
texted her husband to say that she had arrived, but her husband didn't
hear from her after. Her van was found in the parking lot, but Jaymie
was gone. Although it could appear as if she ran away or may have been
an abduction, the police have now labeled the case as a homicide. Her
habit of using Craigslist for finding prostitution clients may have
played a role in this decision.According to Daily Mail, it is now
believed that Adams may have been murdered because of her sudden
disappearance. If she was murdered, the person responsible could face
double murder charges because she was pregnant with her fifth child.
At present, Jaymie Adams' husband, Justin Adams,
has cooperated with the police, but they are still determining whether
he played a role in her disappearance. "We think all of this may have to
do with Craigslist... or someone she met there. We think there's a
strong possibility this may also be linked to prostitution," Adams'
attorney shared. An Oklahoma Police Department's spokesperson, Dexter
Nelson, shared his opinion on the case, "Homicide will get involved, in
cases like this, because of the length of time she's been missing.
There's that, and the mysterious circumstances surrounding the
disappearance." "We think all of this may have to do with
Craigslist... or someone she met there. We think there's a strong
possibility this may also be linked to prostitution," Adams' attorney
shared. An Oklahoma Police Department's spokesperson, Dexter Nelson,

that, and the mysterious circumstances surrounding the disappearance."
Although
her current husband wants her home and pleads for her safety, the
father of one of her other children isn't surprised that she may have
been a prostitute. "Some of us who knew her, when we heard this, we
weren't surprised. I don't want anything bad to happen to Jaymie, and I
hope they find her alive and healthy." Based on people in her life, it
seems as if Jaymie lived on the edge, putting herself in danger from
time to time. And unfortunately, murder is a possibility with
prostitution.
Even if she was a prostitute, Jaymie Adams deserves
to be found, and whoever is responsible for her disappearance must be
held accountable. Unfortunately, prostitutes don't always take top
priority for missing persons' cases.

Brother Pleads For Jaymie Adams' Safe Return
OKLAHOMA CITY -- The brother of a missing metro mother is pleading for her safe return.
In
an interview with Eyewitness News 5, Colby Kuehler, the brother of
Jaymie Adams, said he’s worried and afraid for his sister’s well-being.“There’s no reasoning,” said Kuehler. “There’s no meaning to her just disappearing like this.”Police
and family have been searching for Jaymie Adams since Dec. 10. Her
husband told police the mother of three was meeting a friend at a
McDonald’s in southeast Oklahoma City, but never returned home. The
family’s van was found in the parking lot of the fast food restaurant.Homicide investigators have now joined the case.“It’s
not uncommon for homicide to work a missing person’s case,” said Capt.
Dexter Nelson. “In the event that something is found later on down the
line that leads to an investigation of criminal charges, they’re already
involved in it.”Police said they have searched areas between
Jaymie’s home in Blanchard and where her van was found in southeast
Oklahoma City. Authorities would not elaborate on any more details of
the investigation.
“In a case like this anything and everything is on the table,” said
Capt. Nelson. “The investigators have to keep an open mind because they
never know what direction this case is going to go. It could lead to
criminal charges. It could not. So everything is being considered at
this point.”“I just want her to come home,” said Kuehler. “I just want her to be found safely.”Kuehler
is now begging the public for any help in the investigation. He said he
has had a rocky relationship with his sister, but described her as a
loving mother who would never disappear without her children and fears
the worst.“The people she thinks may not care about her anymore
are still looking,” said Kuehler. “We are going to do whatever we can to
find her. Regardless of whatever happened in the past, she’s still my
sister. And I love her very much.”

Jaymie Adams Investigation Homicide v. MIA
Police have adjusted the search criteria for Jaymie Adams of
Blanchard Oklahoma from that of a missing person to a homicide
investigation.
Gone from the Blanchard area, just South of Oklahoma City... this
photogenic mother of 3 was reported missing after she did not return
from a "run" to the McDonalds around December 10, 2011.
Her husband initially reported her as a missing person with few details.
Later, it was discovered she may have had involvement with Craigslist
regarding attempts to generate money for her family via prostitution.
There has been no clear indication of what previous experience she
had regarding sex industry involvement.
Local news KOCO has identified the woman, pregnant with a 4th child
apparently either chose to meet with three men who were potential
clients or was asked to do so.
Sex for pay per her husband to suppliment the family income.
It is not clear why this was not intitially revealed when the husband reported her missing in the first two weeks of December.

Re: JAYMIE ADAMS - 25 yo/ Deceased - Oklahoma City OK
Court records reveal that the husband of a missing pregnant mother initially lied to investigators about his wife's disappearance in Oklahoma in an attempt to hide that she allegedly met sex-for-money clients through Craigslist.
Jaymie Adams, 25, a mother of three children, disappeared Dec. 10 in Oklahoma City. Police have ruled the case a homicide investigation, though no suspects have been identified.
The husband, Justin Adams, 25, initially told police that his wife disappeared after going to meet a "friend" at a McDonald's, and he denied knowing who his wife was meeting.
But a search warrant says he later admitted that Jaymie Adams "had been meeting with strangers all over (the metro) since October," KFOR-TV reports. She advertised on Craigslist as a "massage therapist" and often engaged in sexual acts with clients for cash, he said, revealing that his wife had gone to meet a "client" at a motel in Norman on the day she disappeared, the Daily Mail reports.
Police found her van at a McDonald's in Oklahoma City.
"There's nothing unreasonable about him not disclosing that she was out prostituting herself," Irven Box, Justin Adams' attorney, told KFOR-TV. "He didn't want police to know that, so he was deceptive to start with."
Police suggest that Jaymie Adams, who reportedly is two months pregnant, could be dead.
"Homicide will get involved in cases like this, because of the length of time she's been missing," Oklahoma City Police Capt. Dexter Nelson told the Daily Mail. "There's that, and the mysterious circumstances surrounding the disappearance."
Justin and Jaymie Adams have been married since February and have a four-month-old baby together. Justin Adams was reportedly interrogated by police after Jaymie's disappearance but was never charged.

The body of a Blanchard mother who was reported missing a month ago was found Saturday afternoon at a dirt bike track near Lake Stanley Draper.
Jaymie Adams,
25, was reported missing by her husband Dec. 10. Bikers using the dirt
track at SW 59 and Douglas called police about 1 p.m. Saturday after
finding a woman's body. Police Capt. Lisa Camacho said the body was identified as Jaymie Adams.Police said the body had been there for more than a day, but they did not indicate how long or any other details about the body.
Adams was reportedly pregnant with her fifth child when she went missing. Her husband, Justin Adams,
has said his wife was involved in online prostitution and suspects her
disappearance is connected with someone she met through Craigslist.
Justin
Adams, who according to police is the last person known to see Jaymie
Adams alive, reported his wife missing at 5 a.m. Dec. 10. He met a
police officer at a McDonald's
restaurant near SE 29 and Douglas Boulevard, where he said his wife was
supposed to meet “a friend” some time after 11 p.m. the previous night.
He
said she sent a text message when she arrived at the restaurant, but
that was the last he heard from her. Jaymie Adams' car was found in the
parking lot.
Justin Adams told police he didn't know the name of
the friend she was supposed to meet and, according to a police report,
became agitated when asked further questions about whom she was meeting.
Justin and Jaymie Adams have been married since February and have a 4-month-old child together.
“I just spoke with Justin a couple of minutes ago,” said Irven Box, his attorney. “He's devastated. He is there. His mom is with him. He just asked when he can see her.”

Re: JAYMIE ADAMS - 25 yo/ Deceased - Oklahoma City OK
Police have confirmed Jaymie Adams was pregnant with her fifth child when she was killed.
Jaymie Adams
The Blanchard woman's unborn child is Oklahoma City's second reported homicide of 2012, Oklahoma City police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said in a news release Wednesday.
Under state law, a fetus also may be considered a homicide victim from the moment of conception. Adams was about two months into her pregnancy when she died, said Irven Box, an attorney representing the woman's husband.
Police and the medical examiner's office declined to discuss how Jaymie Adams died or how long she had been dead before her body was found Saturday.
Officials also haven't revealed the condition of the woman's body, which was found in a wooded area near the 7200 block of S Douglas Boulevard.
There is no suspect in the case and no arrest has been made, Wardlow said.
Adams' body was found by dirt bike riders just north of Lake Stanley Draper. She was the mother of four children, ranging in age from an infant to a 7-year-old.
One of those children, who is 5 months old, was fathered by her husband, Justin Adams.
Box said the infant lives at the family home in Blanchard.
Two older children, ages 6 and 7, are not in the custody of Justin Adams, Box said.
A 5-year-old boy remains in Justin Adams' custody, although Box said the boy isn't his client's biological child.
Background of case
Jaymie Adams was reported missing by her husband in the early hours of Dec. 10.
The husband told police his wife was meeting “a friend” at the McDonald's restaurant near SE 29 and S Douglas Boulevard on the night of Dec. 9.
Justin Adams told police his wife sent him a text when she arrived at the McDonald's and that was the last he heard from her.
A day after reporting his wife missing, however, he reportedly walked into an Oklahoma City police station and admitted to officers he hadn't been completely honest when he reported his wife missing.
He said Jaymie Adams was a working prostitute who used Craigslist to secure business and that she'd been meeting clients the night she vanished.
He also claimed he and Jaymie Adams were swingers, who used the online service to find other couples interested in partner swapping.
“He was protecting her, in the beginning,” Box said.
Police have since said Justin Adams failed a lie-detector test when asked if he knew where his wife's body could be found.
Cell phone records obtained by police show that Justin and Jaymie Adams were not far apart in the hours leading up to his filing the missing persons report, something that contradicts what he told police.

Hmmm this is a weird case. If the husband is telling the truth that Jaymie went to meet a client from Craigslist, then it seems LE should be able to find records on their computer and follow up on it. But the entire story could be a ruse made up by the husband. It's hard to believe that a mother and 4 and pregnant would go out whoring herself.

Re: JAYMIE ADAMS - 25 yo/ Deceased - Oklahoma City OK
What has always bothered me about this story is that the husband (according to news sources) went to the McDonald's 5:30 AM after his wife didn't come home....then called police to unlock the car because he didn't have the keys... ; but later "he said, revealing that his wife had gone to meet a "client" at a motel in Norman on the day she disappeared, the Daily Mail reports." so why was he (and the car) at McDonald's if she was going to a motel? I'd have gone to the motel.

01/04/2012 Oklahoma City police have filed search warrants in connection with the Jaymie Adams missing persons case.
Justin Adams also revealed his wife was meeting with men several times a week in her work as a prostitute, according to search warrant affidavits filed Thursday in Oklahoma County.
The search warrants show investigators requested access to seven email accounts used by the couple between Oct. 1 and Jan. 4.
The body of Jaymie Adams, a mother of four who was pregnant with her fifth child at the time of her death, was found Jan. 7 by dirt bike riders in a wooded area just east of the 7200 block of S Douglas Boulevard.
The woman had been missing for nearly a month when her body was found.
Investigators said Justin Adams consented to a search of his laptop and cellphone, revealing both he and his wife were actively using email correspondence “to solicit for sex.”
Earlier in the week, search warrants were filed in the case indicating a metro-area man was questioned by homicide detectives in the Jaymie Adams investigation.
The man told police he had contacted the Blanchard woman several times the day before she went missing about a Craigslist advertisement she had posted, but that he never met with her.
Warrants filed Tuesday also revealed Justin Adams' mother, Tina Clarke, was interviewed by police shortly after the missing persons report was filed.
Clarke told investigators her son knocked on her door at 3 a.m. the day Jaymie Adams was reported missing and asked to use her vehicle to go look for his wife.
She said she and Justin Adams drove around looking for the missing woman that morning, finding time to drop off the couple's 5-month-old daughter with a relative in the process.
Jaymie Adams, 25, was reported missing two hours after Clarke claims her son came to her door. Jaymie Adams' body was found three or four miles directly south of where her van was located.
Oklahoma City police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said Thursday there are no suspects in the case and no arrests have been made.
The state medical examiner's office has yet to release details on how Jaymie Adams died or how long she'd been dead when her body was found, but court records describe the victim's body as “decomposing” and that it showed signs of “possible trauma.”
Case has twists
Justin Adams reported his wife missing early Dec. 10, telling police she had gone to the McDonald's restaurant at SE 29 and S Douglas Boulevard to meet an unidentified friend, but that he didn't hear from her after she arrived there.
The husband changed his story the next day, authorities said, revealing to police his wife was a working prostitute who used Craigslist to attract clients.
Irven Box, an attorney representing Justin Adams and Clarke, said the husband was protecting Jaymie Adams when he initially reported her missing.
Box said his clients had nothing to do with Jaymie Adams' death and that Justin Adams is taking the news “particularly hard.”
Police said Justin Adams took a polygraph test shortly after reporting his wife missing and showed deception when asked if he knew where her body could be found.
Box, who said he dismisses polygraph tests in general, said he's confident all the new evidence released this week will improve his client's image in the public eye.
“There were a lot of people who thought he was just making all this stuff up about Craigslist and her being contacted by men for sex,” Box said. “I think this new evidence helps substantiate what he's been saying all along.”
Box said Justin Adams recently finished basic training for service in a National Guard unit. He said the couple's financial situation worsened when Justin Adams returned from basic training.
“From what I understand, from sources close to all of this, that's when Jaymie began this prostitution business,” Box said.

Re: JAYMIE ADAMS - 25 yo/ Deceased - Oklahoma City OK
OKLAHOMA CITY — A suburban Oklahoma City man was arrested Friday in connection with the death of his wife and her unborn child, a police spokeswoman said.
Justin Adams reported his wife missing on Dec. 10 after finding her van at a fast food restaurant. Jaymie Adams' body was found on Jan. 7 along a bike trail about a mile north of Lake Stanley Draper in a rural part of southeastern Oklahoma City.
The Medical Examiner's Office has not ruled on the cause of Jaymie Adams' death but has confirmed she was pregnant when she died.
Adams, 25, was arrested on a warrant Friday at his home and held at the Oklahoma County Jail without bond, according to police and online jail records. Oklahoma City police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said formal charges have not been filed in the case.
Investigators focused on Adams in the early stages of their investigation and told him he was a suspect when they refused to let him retrieve personal items from his wife's vehicle, Box said. Police also impounded Adams' mother's vehicle because he said he drove it while searching for his wife.
But Box said Adams had nothing to do with his wife's death, knew she was pregnant and has been "very emotional and distraught." Box said police told him the unborn fetus was in the first three months of development.
Adams initially told police his wife went to the restaurant to meet a friend but he didn't know the friend's name, according to a police affidavit.
The affidavit said Adams returned to police on Dec. 11 and said "he hadn't been completely honest" in his report. He then said his wife was involved in online prostitution and had called him to say she was meeting a client at the restaurant where the van was found. He said she later sent him a text saying the client had failed to appear.
Police are investigating both Jaymie Adams' death and the death of her unborn child as homicides.

More details released in murder of Blanchard mother
Submitted by KFOR-TV, KFOR-TV
Tuesday, January 24th, 2012, 9:59pm
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Investigators have released more information into the murder of pregnant Blanchard mother, Jayme Adams. According to search warrants filed Tuesday, investigators took four soil samples from her mother-in-law's car.
They also searched the Adams' family van and seized swabbings, insurance verification and medical papers.
According to the search warrants, police were searching the vehicles for many things, including "instruments capable of producing blunt-force trauma injuries."
Jamie Adams went missing in December.
Her body was later found near a bike trail at Lake Stanley Draper.
Two weeks ago, Oklahoma City Police seized Adams' mother-in-law's vehicle and the Adams' family van, the same one Jaymie was driving the night she was killed.
Tina Clark, Adams' mother-in-law says police need to be focusing more on Adams' alleged sexual solicitations on Craigslist instead of her family.
"I'm angry. I'm very angry. And the only thing I can say right now is somebody on Craigslist is hurting young girls," Clark said.
Clark says she is tired of being treated as a suspect in her daughter-in-law's murder.
And she grew even more angry Tuesday when she was finally able to get her car after police seized it a couple weeks ago.
She had to pay almost $400 to get it out of Puckett's impound lot.
"I don't think that was right. I didn't take it down there, didn't ask them to pick it up. They pick my car up out of my yard then charge me almost $400 bucks to get it back home," Clark said.
Clark drove her son, Justin Adams, to the southside McDonalds where Jaymie's van was discovered the night she disappeared.
"I've got them down here on my throat, treating me like I was a criminal, taking my vehicle, leaving me stranded at home for two weeks. We went to them begging for help. I'm the one that called 911 and now I'm worse than a criminal," Clark said.
Clark insists both she and her son are innocent and says she hopes police take their investigation in a different direction.
"I want Jaymie's killer found and I want police to take the next time around, don't do another family this way," Clark said.
Clark got her vehicle back Tuesday, but a representative with the wrecker yard tells us Justin Adams' van, which they had also been holding, ended up being repossessed.

Jaymie Adams, of Blanchard, and three of her children were taken to a women's shelter in Norman a month before the woman was found dead in southeast Oklahoma City.

Norman police Capt. Tom Easley said an officer went to a hardware store the night of Nov. 7 in response to a domestic abuse complaint involving Jaymie and Justin Adams.
The pregnant woman and three of her children were taken to an undisclosed shelter following the incident, but no paperwork was filed, he said.
That changed last week, when Justin Adams was arrested on murder complaints in Oklahoma City.
“They learned through their investigation that there was this incident in Norman, so we backtracked on it, and sure enough there was,” Easley said. “And sure enough, the officer hadn't taken any enforcement action.”
Easley said a report probably wasn't made at the time because the alleged abuse happened somewhere else “outside our jurisdiction.”
He also said Jaymie Adams showed no visible signs of abuse and that there was no additional evidence against Justin Adams.
Jaymie Adams also reached out to law enforcement in Grady County in the month before her disappearance, accusing her husband of domestic abuse at their home in Blanchard.
