Casey Anthony: Is she radioactive except in pay-per-view?

What was the release of a Casey Anthony video this week? A bad business move, at least, TV commentators agreed this morning.
“People are not going to buy anything. They are not going to buy her book,” Robin Roberts said on “Good Morning America.” “They don’t want to see her movie. They don’t want to see her on ‘Good Morning America.’ ”
So I guess we won’t see her in an interview on “GMA.” But the Anthony video was the top story in the 7:30 a.m. half-hour on “GMA” and “Today.”
“She’s radioactive,” ABC legal analyst Dan Abrams told Roberts. “Casey Anthony can’t sell her story, her interview, her book to a major entity. If she’s going to be selling it, it’s going to be in a sort of pay-per-view way.”
On her HLN show, Nancy Grace talked to an Ohio man, Jon Briley, who said he found the Anthony video on a pay-per-view site and put it online to undermine any efforts by Anthony to make money.
Briley, in footage on WKMG-Channel 6, said, “She’s going to make no money off it right now. Because, well, you’d have to be an idiot to pay money when you can get it for free. That’s why I put it up there.”
Briley, who runs BoycottCaseyAnthony.com, told WESH-Channel 2, “On one of those sites, we were looking at this morning, her brother, Lee Anthony, is taking credit for leaking it on the Internet.”
Grace shared her view on “GMA”: “Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? Why give her a TV deal when she’s putting this stuff online? But she doesn’t know that.”
In July, Anthony was acquitted of murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee. She remains in hiding in Florida while serving probation for check fraud.
Grace repeated her view that she doesn’t buy Anthony’s attorneys claim that the video had been hacked. “From the beginning, everything they or their client has said regarding this matter has been a big lie,” Grace told Robin Roberts. “So why should I start believing them now?”
On “Today,” Kerry Sanders reported, “Her lawyers now say they have increased fears for her safety because they believe somebody stole the video from her computer by hacking in.”
Grace noted that the video came out in a slow time for the news business and six months to the day that Anthony was acquitted. “This was no coincidence,” Grace said.
WFTV-Channel 9 focused on how the video’s release could be bad news for Anthony in her civil suits, such as Zenaida Gonzalez’s defamation suit. WFTV’s Lori Brown explained the case history: Anthony, in disguise, repeatedly pleaded the Fifth in a video deposition in the Gonzalez suit. A judge later ruled that Anthony didn’t need to give another deposition.
But Matt Morgan, Gonzalez’s attorney, told WFTV that he would now argue, “Hey, listen, judge, if she’s out here talking to the public at large why can’t she talk inside of a courtroom?”
What are your thoughts?
