CARMEL, Ind. — Carmel police and family members of Rebecca Chen, 17, continued today to search for her after her mother discovered she was missing at 7 a.m. today.
She was last seen at her residence on Tammany Trail about midnight, police said.
Family members told police they don’t known when she left. They believe Rebecca may have cut her hair and altered her appearance before leaving. Her bike was located in the 13000 block of Hazel Dell Parkway.
Anyone with information is asked to call Carmel police at (317) 571-2532.

A Carmel teenager reported missing earlier this week has been found safe.Rebecca
Chen, 17, who was discovered missing Wednesday morning, has returned to
her home, according to a news release Friday night from the Carmel
Police Department.
"Rebecca called her parents yesterday and let them know that she was okay," said Lt. Jeff Horner in the release.
"After speaking with her family she agreed to return home. Her parents picked her up tonight at approximately 5 p.m."
