KIVANAH GAMMAGE - 15 yo - Fort Lauderdale FL

A 15-year-old girl is missing and may have run away from home because she didn't want to do household chores, a Fort Lauderdale Police Department spokesman said Thursday.

The missing juvenile — identified as Kivanah Gammage — was last seen by her mother Wednesday at 2 a.m., the police department's spokesman Det. Travis Mandell said in a statement.

And she was last seen at her residence on the 400 block of Northwest 11 Terrace in Fort Lauderdale.

The child's mother — Kimona Matthew — said her daughter told her she was planning to run away to avoid doing household chores, according to authorities.

Matthew now fears that the runaway may have gotten into trouble while out on the street and is worried about her safety.
