AVA ENLOW - 2 yo - Phoenix AZ
PHOENIX - A Valley mom is searching for her 2-year-old daughter who’s been missing for at least five days.
Phoenix police say the girl's father, Brent Anderson, 31, disappeared with Ava Enlow during a visitation.
He is not the custodial parent and is the subject of a custodial interference complaint.
Ava's mother, Athena Manuma, tells ABC15 neighbors witnessed Anderson moving furniture out of his home.
Family
and friends have been unable to reach Anderson and do not know his
intentions toward the child, and he had lost his job recently and was
facing financial difficulties, according to police.
“The scariest thing is not knowing where your child is at and not knowing if she is safe,” said Manuma.
Anderson is described as a white male, 5-feet 10-inches tall and weighing 235 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes.
Ava Enlow is 3 years old, 3-feet tall, weighing 40 pounds and also has blond hair and blue eyes.
Police
describe his vehicle as a 2-door 2002 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck,
dark blue in color, with the license plate 038KSV.
Anyone with
information can contact the Phoenix Police Department Missing Persons
Unit at 602-534-2121, or by email at phoenix.tips.ppd@phoenix.gov.

AVA ANDERSON-MANUMA - 2 yo - Phoenix AZ
Police in Arizona are searching for a missing two-year-old girl. Officials believe she was taken by her father.
To Athena Manuma, nothing seemed unusual when she dropped her
daughter Ava off with her father Brent Anderson. She says, "Nothing out
of the ordinary. They weren't moving away quickly. It seemed pretty
normal."
But, when it was time to pick her up on Wednesday, Athena knew
something wasn't right. She says, "Your heart was pounding fast, you are
thinking what's going on, why is there no answer at the door."
Police were called out twice to try and get Ava back, but no one was
home. Athena says neighbors witnesses Brent moving furniture out. News
that terrified Athena. She says, "I have no idea where she's at and
that's the scariest part... it's not knowing and waiting for your child
to come home."
Police say Brent's house had recently been through foreclosure and he
recently lost his job. And so far no leads as to where he or Ava might
be.
Police are on the lookout for Anderson's blue 2002 Chevy Silverado.

Ava Enlow: 2-yr-old Phoenix girl missing; father wanted for custodial abduction
PHOENIX, Arizona (Isabelle Zehnder reporting) -- The
mother of missing Arizona girl, 2-year-old Ava Enlow, is begging the
public for help in finding her missing daughter who she believes is with
her biological father, 31-year-old Brent Anderson.
Athena Manuma said she told her little girl goodbye at a local
Starbuck's the morning of Feb. 18 when she dropped her off for a
scheduled visit with her father, Anderson, and his girlfriend, Roxy
Enriquez. They were last seen in Anthem, Arizona. She’s not seen Ava
since.
“I thought that on Wednesday I would go and pick her up, and she wasn’t there,” Manuma said.
According to a website set up by the family, BringAvaHome.com, Manuma
is not able to call Anderson because he doesn’t have a phone. The only

Re: AVA ENLOW - 2 yo - Phoenix AZ
The mother and grandmother of a missing 2-year-old girl faced off on “Nancy Grace” Tuesday night.
Athena Manuma last saw her daughter, Ava Enlow, when she dropped her off outside a Phoenix-area Starbucks on Feb. 18 for a scheduled visit with the girl's father, with whom she shares custody. Authorities believe Ava is still with her father, Brent Anderson, and police say they are concerned for her safety. A civil arrest warrant has been issued for Anderson and is set to remain active until he returns the girl to her mother.
Ava's alleged abduction comes after years of court disputes between her parents that began before she was even born. The current custody agreement allowed for each parent to have Ava on designated days during the week and alternating weekends.
In recent filings, Manuma alleged that Ava sometimes returned from court-ordered visits with her father with bruises or burns. She also claimed that Anderson had been avoiding attempts by Child Protective Services to interview him.
Manuma told Nancy Grace that Anderson never responded when she asked how Ava got those burns and cuts. She provided copies of photos that she said show the injuries.
Melinda Barros, Anderson's mother, said on “Nancy Grace” Tuesday that they took Ava to a doctor and they have documentation that those injuries were not the result of abuse. She also said that she does not believe Ava is in danger.
“I have not heard from my son but I do know that he would not do anything to hurt her or harm her and Athena even admitted that to my daughter,” Barros said.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Ava Enlow is asked to contact the Phoenix Police Department at 602-534-2121.

PHOENIX - Phoenix police say a man who left
town with his 3-year-old daughter instead of returning her to her mother
has been found in Mexico and the girl is safe.
Police spokesman officer James Holmes says 31-year-old Brent Anderson didn't
turn over his daughter, Eva Enlow, as required under a court order on
Feb. 22.That's when Eva's mother, Athena Enlow-Manuma, reported the girl missing.
Anderson had moved out of his house and police later found his vehicle abandoned at a bus station.
Police detectives, deputy U.S. marshals and Mexican authorities were able to track him to a small town outside Mazatlan.
Holmes says the little girl was found in a home late Friday and placed
with social workers. Anderson was arrested on a U.S. warrant Saturday.
Both are expected to be returned to Phoenix next week. Anderson doesn't yet have a lawyer.
