SYLVIA ANDO - 12 yo - Pinellas/ Seminole FL

Pinellas deputies are searching for a 12-year-old Seminole girl who ran away from home Monday afternoon.

Sylvia Ando was last seen between 3 and 4 p.m. on Monday when she left her home, 10633 Seminole Forest Drive East, after arguing with her parents.

Sylvia's parents called the sheriff's office about 8:30 p.m. and deputies have contacted all of her friends and family and searched the area with a helicopter and K9 units.

Sylvia is home schooled and has never run away from home before, deputies said.

She is 5 feet tall, 90 pounds and has shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes.

She was wearing a beige shirt with grey long sleeves, blue jeans and white sneakers with pink trim.

Seminole, FL - Detectives have reported the missing
Seminole girl has just been found safe. A family friend from church saw
the girl walking on East Bay Drive near Highway US19 and picked her
up. It appears she may have become lost after she ran away. She was
tired and hungry but safe. Detectives will be interviewing her to
retrace her whereabouts during the night.
