The Maryland State Police are seeking the public's help to locate a missing 13-year-old boy.

Police say Quante Jabber Copes was reported missing by his grandfather Nathan Copes on April 14. The grandfather reportedly told police he packed some of his clothes and left the residents. The boy later called his grandfather to day he was okay and "going to make it on his own."

Police believe Quante Copes may be in the Salisbury or Princess Anne area.

Anyone with information regarding Quante Copes is asked to call the Princess Anne Barrack of the Maryland State Police at 443-260-3700.
