Teenage Girl Missing From Parkville
15-year-old Brooke Amanda Springer was reported missing on May 14, according to officials.
Baltimore County police and a distraught family are asking the public to help find a missing 15-year-old Parkville girl.
Brooke Amanda Springer was reported missing from her Acton Road home
on Monday at around 11:20 p.m., according to police spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher.
The girl, who attends Parkville High School, told her father Gregory Springer that she was going to the Royal Farms
store at 8206 Harford Road and left home around 6 p.m. May 14. She
hasn't been seen or heard from since, according to Rogers-Feher.
The girl's father told police that he took a nap around 6:45 p.m. and
when he woke, he noticed Brooke was not back from the store. He tried
to contact her via cell phone, but she didn't answer. He then reported
his daughter missing, police said.
According to police, the girl recently moved to the Parkville area
and doesn't have many friends in town yet. She previously lived in
Carroll County and, according to a Facebook post from a user named Jennifer Naylor,
she may be either in the Parkville or Manchester area.
Police describe the missing girl as a white female, about 5 feet tall
and 110 pounds with a thin build and a fair complexion. She has blue
eyes and had black hair at the time of her disappearance, but she may be
wearing a straight, brown wig. She has two tattoos—one of three bears
on the right side of her ribcage and another on the inside of her right
bicep. She also has two piercings, one in the right side of her lower lip and one in her nose.
When she went missing, she was wearing a blue sweatshirt, white shorts and a pair of black and white Hello Kitty slipper boots.
Family members and friends have started a Facebook group dedicated to bringing the girl home.
Police are asking anyone with information about Brooke Springer's
location to call the Parkville precinct at 410-887-5310 or to contact Baltimore County police at 410-307-2020.

Re: BROOKE SPRINGER - 15 yo - Parkville MD
Wow, another child who's family seem to have lost the plot in the parenting department. How parents can allow their child to permanently deface themselves is beyond me. At 15 years old she had tattoos, a nose and lip piercing. At 15 years old she doesn't realize how the community will perceive this kid. We do judge a book by it's cover and that's just a fact. She'll find it hard to get a job when she's compared to others turning up at the interview well groomed. It's a parents job to guide their kids to make good choices and prevent them from making stupid ones like this. It doesn't surprise me this girl is among our missing.
