KYLAR JOHNSON - 4 yo/ Accused: Father-Cole Johnson - Victoria (SE of San Antonio) TX

VICTORIA, Texas—The father of the 4-year-old boy who was mauled to
death by a pit bull in March is now facing charges, according to the Victoria Advocate.

Cole Johnson is facing charges of negligent homicide, endangering a child and injury to a child.

The boy, Kylar Johnson, was found in a neighbor’s yard on the morning
of March 26 after being missing overnight. His body showed evidence of
being mauled by a pit bull chained to the fence.

Victoria County District Attorney Steve Tyler told the Victoria
Advocate that the boy had been found wandering down the road before.
