Casey Anthony ordered to disclose financial resources: May face perjury charges

ORLANDO, FLORIDA--Despite declaring herself broke on her probation report, Casey Anthony has reportedly been shopping for real estate in an upscale area of Costa Rica. This indiscrepancy has raised the eyebrows of the judge assigned to oversee the upcoming civil case against the infamous Florida mother, leading to an order by the court to for Anthony to disclose any and all of her financial resources.

Anthony, who is currently serving a probation sentence on charges of felony check fraud, was famously acquitted by a Florida jury after less than a full day's deliberation in the death of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee. The jury's actions led to public outrage over the verdict and movements to change the laws in honor of the slain toddler, who's body was found just steps from Anthony's Florida home in an abandoned swamp.

The criminal case against Anthony launched multiple civil actions against the twenty-six year old, including a civil suit filed filed by Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez , who shares the name of an imaginary nanny that Anthony falsely accused of kidnapping her daughter. According to Gonzalez, the damage done to her reputation as a result of Anthony's lies has turned her life into a living hell.

According to Anthony's probation reports, the "Most Hated Woman in America" claims to be broke, unemployed and is no longer attending classes or counseling, both of which were a condition of her probation.

In her monthly probation reports, Anthony has claimed that she is not able to work or attend school due to the barrage of death threats that she has received since her release from jail last August. Although Anthony was at one point undergoing counseling, her most recent probation reports indicate that she is no longer participating in therapy as she feels the sessions are "unnecessary".

Anthony's reported lack of income caught the attention of attorney's representing Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez in her suit against Anthony after they were made aware of Anthony's recent quest to purchase real estate in Costa Rica.

If Anthony is found to have lied about her financial resources, not only could she face additional civil ramifications, she could face criminal charges for perjury, particularly on charges of lying to her probation officer.

Despite her stated fear of pubic revenge, Anthony has reportedly been venturing out into public on a regular basis, including various shopping expeditions and fast food runs. According to sources, Anthony has been able to go virtually unrecognized due to a massive weight gain since her acquittal.
