Police in Kentucky have broadcast an Amber Alert for a missing Chicago girl.

Authorities in Chicago say Cleophus Cooks, 46, abducted his daughter,
Tillie L. Armour, 18 months, on June 12. Police say Cooks had
visitation with his daughter and never returned the child to her mother.
The mother told police she waited to report her missing hoping that
Cooks "would do the right thing." She has since obtained a court order
for the child's return. Cooks reportedly told her "f*** a court order,"
and hung up when she contacted him on Monday.

Armour was last seen wearing a pink and orange shirt, orange shorts
and white Jordan's gym shoes. She had pink and white barrettes in her
hair.

Cooks is a black male standing 5-foot-6. He has grey hair and brown
eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey Dickies work shirt, blue Dickies
work pants and black boots. Cooks walks with a limp and police say they
believe he is armed and dangerous.

The suspect vehicle is a gold 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

Amber Alert canceled for girl, 1

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - An Amber Alert issued early Tuesday for a girl abducted in Chicago on June 12 has been canceled.

Tillie L. Armour, 1, was located Tuesday, according to an alert sent out by Markham police.

Armour was taken in the 7100 block of South Ellis Avenue at about 3 p.m. on June 12, according to the alert requested by Markham police.

The girl's father, Cleophus Cooks, 46, was the suspected kidnapper, according a statement from Markham police.

Cooks was allowed a visitation at 3 p.m. June 12 and was supposed to return the girl at 6 p.m. the same day, according to Markham police.

The girl's mother obtained a court order for immediate return of the child and when she called Cooks Monday night to tell him of the order he allegedly said "F--- a court order," and hung up, the statement said.
