Unnamed Girl - 8 yo/ Accused: Brandon Hubbard - Tahlequah OK
TAHLEQUAH —
Charges have been filed against a Rose man accused of beating a woman
and child with a whip and broom handle and forcing that same child to
watch as he decapitated a puppy with an ax.
Brandon Keith Hubbard, 29, faces felony counts of child abuse by injury
and cruelty to animals, and a misdemeanor count of domestic assault and
battery in the presence of children.
Investigators with the District Attorney’s Office said they received
information in late June that an 8-year-old girl had been beaten with a
whip and broom handle. While the girl was being whipped with the broom
stick during one incident, it broke, according to an affidavit filed in
the case.
Investigators say they saw “severe bruising” on the girl, and also took
32 photographs showing injuries allegedly inflicted by Hubbard on an
adult woman.
Hubbard allegedly forced the girl and another child to watch as he beat
that woman, and would also force the woman to beat the girl. If the
woman would refuse, Hubbard would assault her with a braided whip he
kept at the home, according to court documents.
Those documents also describe how Hubbard, sometime in June, allegedly
grabbed a puppy from the girl, held it down and decapitated it with an
ax because she hadn’t cleaned up after it.
During execution of a search warrant at a residence on East 620 Road,
in Rose, investigators say they recovered a hand-made whip, a
double-headed ax, two single-head axes, and one small ax handle.
Child abuse by injury is punishable by up to life in prison and a fine
of $500 to $5,000, while cruelty to animals is punishable by a fine of
up to $500 and up to five years in prison.
Domestic assault and battery in the presence of minors is punishable by
six months to a year in prison and a fine of up to $5,000.

Chain this animal up and never let him loose again.
He's not capable of rehabilitation. He holds no respect for anything.

I pray the girl will be ok. My heart cries for her.
Child abuse up to life, should be LIFE.
And if it leads to a death then it should be DEATH. Death for a Death. They caught this one early enough thank God.
