MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - It's been more than five weeks now since 14-year-old Brittany Robinson's mother has seen her daughter.
The teen’s mother, Tiana Hogue, said there have been no calls, no sightings, and no leads. She is frustrated, but holding on to hope.
"I'm taking it one day at a time. I'm just relying on God and the help from my family to get through it," said Hogue.
She's in constant contact with detectives, who she said assure her they are following all leads related to Brittany's disappearance.
"I guess they are waiting until they get something conclusive to tell me because it's been pretty frustrating, and you know, upsetting to me that everything they have done so far have run into a dead-end," said Hogue.
Hogue said her daughter was rekindling a relationship with her father, Demetric Hooper, and Brittany planned to spend a weekend with him last month.
Hogue said that's the last time she saw her daughter.
“I get phone calls from her friends almost every other day. ‘Ms. Robinson, Ms. Tiana, have you talked to Brittany? Have you seen Brittany?’"
Hogue now spends time trying to think of anything from her ex's past that may help this case. She said she remembers him having a collection of out-of-state ID's.
"It's like Detroit, Michigan, Ohio, Kansas, Texas, and Arkansas," said Hogue.
On Monday, Hogue said plans on contacting courthouses in those states to stop any attempt by Hooper to apply for custody of Brittany.
Brittany's mother said detectives have learned that Demetric has contacted family members in Mobile.

KlaasKids search for Brittany Robinson
KlaasKids search for Brittany Robinson

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - A national organization has been called in to help in the search for a local teen that has been missing nearly six weeks.
It's the latest development in the Brittany Robinson disappearance. KlaasKids Search and Rescue and Mobile police investigators spent most of the day Wednesday searching a wooded area behind a row of homes on McCovery Road Extension.
Robinson's father, Demetric Hooper, lived in one of the mobile homes with his girlfriend before he and Brittany disappeared back in June.
The teenager was supposed to spend the weekend with her father. According to Brittany’s mother, the teenager was trying to rekindle a relationship with him.
After her disappearance, police said they have had no significant leads on either Brittany or her dad.
KlaasKids is a national search center for missing children. The organization has been involved since the beginning working with the family, but this was the first time they have been asked by investigators to actually conduct a search.
“The police department called and asked for a routine search of this area behind this location. Outside of that there's really nothing else. It's not really based on any sort of leads or anything,” said Klaas Kids Search Director Brad Dennis.
He said when conducting the search, they look for a number of things.
“Just anything that could be attributed back to the Brittany case; just anything that would be out of place in the woods. That wouldn't belong there. It could be clothing. It could be a lot of different things. In this case we didn't find anything,” he said.
Last week FOX10 News talked to Brittany's mother Tiana Hogue.
She said she was discouraged by efforts that so far have led to dead ends. It appears this could be another one.
Also last week, police issued a felony warrant for Brittany's father . It's a warrant for interfering with custody.
Police are still looking for any leads in this case, and Brittney's mother is still praying her daughter will be found.

Father denied bail, daughter still missing
Brittany Robinson missing more than 4 months
10/31/2012
MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Brittany Robinson's mother, Tiana Hogue, said
family and friends have been asking the same questions for more than
four months:
"Have you heard from Brittany? Have y'all seen Brittany? What's going on with Brittany?” said Hogue.
Brittany
Robinson, 14, has been missing since June 2012. Hogue said Brittany
spent a few days with her father Demetric Hooper in June and that was
the last time anyone saw her.
Hooper was arrested for interfering with custody and remains in jail after he was denied bail Tuesday, October 30.
Mobile
County District Attorney Ashley Rich said opposing bail for a class C
felony isn't common, but she said it is appropriate for this case,
considering Hopper's history.
"We consider him to be a flight
risk due to the fact he had fled the state of Alabama and he was
apprehended months later, and we had to extradite him back to the state
of Alabama. He did not come willingly," said Rich.
Hooper was
just appointed an attorney, Joseph Dennis. He tells FOX10 news Hooper
denies any involvement in Brittany's disappearance.
But Hogue's not convinced.
"I just want to know what his motives are. He has taken my child away from me," said Hogue.
KlaasKids
director Brad Dennis said the organization is playing an active role in
finding Brittany. KlaasKids is a national search center for missing
children.
Dennis said the organization has not done any
searching as of late and it's currently on standby, waiting for any new
information from Mobile Police Department.
The DA's office said
it's trying to keep Hooper in jail without bond. The Mobile Metro Jail
log said Hooper's next court date is Monday, November 5.
If you know anything about Brittany Robinson's whereabouts, call the district attorney's office or the Mobile Police Department.

Poster's note: This may not be Brittany Robinson
(LILLIAN, Ala.) Investigators have left the scene after nearly three days of searching for clues after the discovery of what are described as human remains. The bones were discovered in a remote area of Lillian off of Route Road a dirt road south of Highway 99.
Late today search and rescue dogs were added to the investigation. It's possible not all the bones were recovered. Investigators say they may have enough to make a positive DNA identification. Buford Bailey lives on Route Road. He remembers the day the moment the remains were found by a 14 year old neighbor.
" Three of us adults got together. The neighbors here. We got together and looked at it, didn't touch it but we looked at the parts and then we called 911," said Bailey.
Deputies have been here for nearly three days collecting evidence. Daylight was a big help. On this rural road at nightfall it's pitch dark and you can't see anything.
Neighbor Larry Price says he's glad things are wrapping up and that deputies are gone from the scene. " I hope they find out what happened and who did it. You know a lot of times they don't find who done it. It's a shame," said Price.
Neighbors say in the end it'll be all about closure for the victim's family. "It's a good thing, It's always a good thing yes," said Bailey,
The Sheriff's Office says they believe they know who the victim is and they have ideas on who a suspect might be. They gave no additional information.

And then there is this: "Chessie Wood said she waited into the night to hear whether her daughter's body had been found in Lillian, but by morning authorities confirmed to her the body did not belong to Brittney Wood.
"It still breaks my heart, because there's someone out there looking for that person," Chessie Wood said."

LILLIAN, Ala. (WALA) - Cpl Chris Levy said the Mobile Police Department gets hundreds of reports of people who are missing. He said many are found, but not all families are that lucky.
Levy said when the human remains were found in Baldwin County earlier this week, two cases came to mind.
"We have that open case involving Brittney Wood. Obviously there are some circumstances that led to Baldwin County back over to Mobile, and we still haven't located her," Levy said.
Then there's the case of missing 14-year-old Brittany Robinson .
"She was reported missing when her father took her for a visit, and he never returned her. He has since been arrested and won't talk about her location," Levy said.
Officials in Baldwin County also have two outstanding missing person investigations. Eric Winberg with the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office said one is from last year.
"The first was a Raymond "Scooter" Amison. He went missing in April of 2011," said Winberg.
Amison was last seen after he asked someone to drive him to a wooded area. Authorities at that time, said Amison could be suffering from mental impairment. Kay Sheehan is the second cold case. She vanished from her Robertsdale home in 2001.

Well the remains have been identified and they are NOT Brittany's.
They belong to a 55 yo woman, Nancy Craycraft. This was a surprise to the Sheriff's Office who were originally expecting to have found either Brittany Robinson or Brittney Wood.

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Search teams were in a remote part of Mobile County Tuesday, January 29, looking for missing teen Brittany Robinson.
The search group, escorted by Mobile Police, brought their dogs to the area of McCleod and McCovery roads, near where Robinson’s father lives.
Robinson, who turned 15 on Sunday, has been missing since June 2012.
Her mother, Tiana Hogue, told FOX10 she is still hopeful that her daughter is alive.
“Is she eating? Is she being treated fairly? It's been very hard holiday after holiday, day after day,” said Hogue.
Hogue said in June, Robinson spent a few days with her estranged father Demetric Hooper. She had been trying to reconnect with Hooper. Authorities said that was the last time anyone saw Robinson.
Hooper was arrested months later in Arkansas and extradited back to Mobile for interfering with custody.
“We consider him to be a flight risk due to the fact that he had fled the state of Alabama, and he was apprehended months later and we had to extradite him back to the state of Alabama to face these charges,” said Mobile County District Attorney Ashley Rich. “He did not come willingly.”
Hooper remains in jail after he was denied bail Tuesday, October 30.
Hogue told FOX10 she believes he has information about the case.
"The things that he has done and the things that he has said and the way that he has reacted to the whole situation, not even concerned about Brittany's well being,” she said. “At this point, yes I do. I do believe that."
Hooper was appointed defense attorney Joseph Dennis. He told FOX10 news Hooper denies any involvement in Robinson’s disappearance.

Bond Denied Again for Father of Missing Teen

MOBILE, Alabama -
The father of a missing Mobile teenager was out of jail for a short time for his latest court appearance, but he's still not free. Defense Attorney Joseph Dennis was hoping to get a bond set for his client, Demetric Hooper, but the judge denied it once again.
"We were just asking for a reasonable bond," said Dennis. "He's been sitting in jail for about six months, and the case has not been picked up by the Grand Jury. He hasn't been indicted."
Family members from both sides of Brittany Robinson's family were at Government Plaza Tuesday, as state prosecutors tried to prove how Brittany's father was directly linked to her disappearance.
"The charge is Interference with Custody because she was in his care when she went missing," said Mobile Assistant District Attorney Jill Phillips.
Brittany Robinson was just fourteen years old when she was last seen in June of 2012. Since then, there have been few details on her mysterious disappearance. Some family members want to believe she's still alive.
"I still have hope," said Sierra Hooper, the defendant's sister. "I know she's not dead. I know there's nothing wrong with her. Brittany is a very smart girl, and if she wanted to come home, trust me, Brittany will call home."
Brittany has missed practically an entire school year. She would have been a freshman at Murphy High School.
In court Tuesday, prosecutors repeatedly brought up Hooper's troubled mental health history. They said at the time of his arrest, Hooper was getting paid to take schizophrenic medication at a research facility in Arkansas. They also claimed he was extremely violent when officers attempted to extradite him from Arkansas back to Alabama in 2012.
But the defendant's sister says he would never hurt a child.
"He's not going to do anything to hurt his daughter or anybody else," said Sierra Hooper. "He would protect anybody, especially children."
Investigators claim that several suspicious items were found in Hooper's possession at the time of his arrest, including knives, rope, and Brittany's pink iPod.
The case has been bound over to a Grand Jury.
