Florence deputies continue to search for missing teen girl

FLORENCE, S.C. -- Florence County authorities are looking for a teen girl who is missing from her Florence home.



Lauren Wilson, age 17, Of Edgefield Drive, was last seen around noon Monday, deputies said.

Lauren is described as white female approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds with long dark hair and green eyes.

Deputies say that she may be driving a 2000 neon blue Ford Mustang with Indiana license tag RSG 990.

Florence missing teen found "alive and well"

FLORENCE, S.C. -- Florence County authorities found the missing teen Tuesday morning "alive and well."

Lauren Wilson, age 17, Of Edgefield Drive, was last seen around noon Monday, deputies said.

"We take seriously the report of any missing child, a parent’s worst night mare. Fortunately, this one turned our well. We appreciate the prompt response of the media to publicize her as missing," said Captain Mike Nunn with the Florence County Sheriff's Office.
