Waco police are asking for help from the public to find a young mother and her child.
Breanne Olivas, 18
Breann Gabriella Olivas, 18, and her 17-month-old daughter, Mallory Zuniga, have been missing since Monday, when Olivas last was seen leaving her cosmetology class at McLennan Community College, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.
According to authorities, Breanne Olivas, 18, appeared very distraught after attending her brother’s funeral several weeks ago.
Olivas’ family reported her and the baby, who is thought to be with Olivas, as missing two days later.
Olivas, who lives with her husband in West Waco, appeared very distraught after attending her brother’s funeral several weeks ago, according to authorities.
Police think she may be driving a white 2002 Dodge Ram quad-cab pickup bearing the Texas license plate BN4-3193. It is possible she may be in the Odessa area, Swanton said.
It is too early in the investigation to know whether foul play could be involved in Olivas’ and her daughter’s disappearance, the spokesman said.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Olivas or her baby are asked to call Det. Malissa Malone at 750-7616 or the Waco Police Department at 750-7500.
