Amber Alert issued for two girls abducted in Lockhart

Authorities have issued an Amber Alert issued for two girls abducted by a man in a town located just southeast of Austin.

Lockhart police reported that 12-year-old Alyssa Nauer and 14-year-old Pamela
Warren were both taken by a white male with brown shoulder length hair.
The suspect was last seen driving a gray extended cab pickup truck with black bumpers.

Investigators reported that the suspect was last heard from 700 Carver Street in
Lockhart, which is located about 25 miles southeast of Austin.

Law enforcement officials believe the two girls are in grave or immediate danger.

The incident prompted authorities to issue a statewide Amber Alert around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

LOCKHART, TEXAS - An Amber Alert has been canceled for two girls out of Lockhart, Texas.

Lockhart Police tells NewsWest 9, 12-year-old Alyssa Nauer and 14-year-old Pamela Warren were found safe at a relatives house in a neighboring community.

Lockhart Police also said there was no abduction as the girls left voluntarily.

No foul play is suspected in the case.

Police are still investigating.
