ok, i really have to go now - won't be back for a few hours but if anyone knows anything about this - i read somewhere that casey set up the cayleeismissing myspace account in april - i don't remember if i read it in the computer forensic report or on a blog. but i do know le said she was visiting missing childrens' websites in march - if she set the site up in april, then that would help prove premeditation - anyone know how to tell when a myspace account is set up or can the date be manipulated? i think this could be important to the case -

Ok I am not a myspace expert but this is what I noticed when looking at the page. Casey created a myspace page almost two years before Caylee went missing. Check it out. http://www.myspace.com/cayleeismissing
Then go to view all blogs entries and a new page will open up and look to the left and see that the date created is Signup Date: 10/23/06. When you create a page you cannot change the URL name, you have to create a new one. Why would you create page for a child that is not missing two years before the incident? Her parents and brother just took over the page and have started using it. It had not been logged on to since 16 July 2008. They are using a page that was created almost two years ago.

Found this earlier and had heard something about it before, where Casey "pretended" Caylee was missing to get Cindy back for something. Someone referenced it as to why Lee asked Casey "is this like last time". Don't know how accurate it is, but very interesting to have a Cayleeismissing Myspace page blogged on in 2006. Means she not only researched other missing kids sites prior, but also played with this idea prior to actually having Caylee "go missing"/

This is the site I found it on, claims the URL cayleeismissing was registered on Oct. xx, 2006. URL cannot be changed, but all entries on that site prior to the actual July reporting have been deleted. This is not new, we know she deleted 100s of files from all her sites before the 911 call. Casey's page had a URL of kaseeomaree (or something very similar) so she didn't set up the cayleeismissing url page in 2006 for her own use. Her URL was registered in 2002 or 2005, forget now which was Lee and which was Casey. This site has some of the deleted docs from her pages.

Hello. I believe that the "date" is the date the page was created, not the date that the URL is created. You don't have to select a URL in any given timeframe. We all know that Casey was a hootch, so maybe she had more than one page to help her "hook 'em" so to speak. Just to clarify...I AM NOT DEFENDING HER!!! we all know what she did, just MO. But, just to make sure I will ask my niece if I can 'set' her URL on myspace. She has had a page for 2 years and has never set one. Then I'll see if the 'date' in question changes.

I have no way to be sure this is a reliable site, other than the fact that I have seen some of these deleted messages in the past so they did come from somewhere. It does seem legit to me and does answer Lee's question pertaining to "is this like last time?"

My son went onto the Caylee is Missing my space. He got into the coding he said it was pretty standard except for one line that was locked and being he can't be the only one who can do this he wasn't going any further he said that line was put there said he didn't no who put it there and wasn't chancing it. I agreed with him.

URL is the domain and can't be changed you can change the title but not the URL itself.

My grandkids regularly change their names of their myspace pages. Here is how they do it:

1 -Log into myspace account.

2 -click on EDIT PROFILE next to name.

3- The next page that comes up Says name.

4 - You can change your DISPLAY name ( the name everyone sees)

5 - YOU CANNOT change the original URL. If a myspace account was created and they used a
Different email, it shows in the URL for that person ALWAYS.

6 - Here is an example.

Let's say you created a myspace account as zipadedodah@yahoo.com
Then later you change your email to zippysdo-dads@myisp.com. And You decide to change your name that
is displayed on myspace to Southernbelledecor. No matter how often you update your email or change your
display name for myspace -- it will ALWAYS come up with your ORIGINAL NAME in the actual URL.

7 - To see what that account was originally, all you have to do is look at the URL. If it says something
DIFFERENT than the display name, then the account was created originally in another user name.

That is precisely what I knew to be true, only there are claims that the URL cayleeismissing was registered first in 2006, when Caylee didn't actually go missing until 2008. Reportedly it was some prank Casey played on cindy at poor Caylee's expense. The page no longer shows the "member since" or URL registered on, not even last logged into...only last updated. How can we find out when in fact the URL was first created, as it was surely before July 15th? Maybe LE should be made aware, they can subpoena MySpace for that info.

I think that LE should probably be notified and let them deal with it. It may be that there are different rules that apply when it moves from a personal page to an organizational(for lack of better word) page. It is also possible that one of the attorneys may have requested of MYSPACE that the information not be viewable as it moved from a personal blog to "this". LE should be able to find this out. JMO

I read along time ago regarding the myspace page account set up by Casey in 2006. That it was her private my space account.. Sometime after Caylee went missing Casey apparently removed almost all of her 200+ pics...
Then once Casey went to Jail the first time, her brother Lee took over caseys myspace account, and decided to turn Casey's private page into a Caylee is missing site...
