COVICTED child killer Warren Ross has abused the father of the little girl he murdered in dramatic scenes in a Sydney court.
Adrian Warrick, the father of two-year-old murdered girl Tanilla Warrick-Deaves, was reading an emotional statement about his daughter’s death during Ross’ sentencing submission in the Supreme Court when Ross began hurling abuse.
“F*** you Adrian you dog, where were you for two years,” Ross yelled from the dock.
“You look like a fool,” Mr Warrick said.
It took some time to restore order back in the court.

Mr Warrick was reading a statement on the affects of the murder of his child, who had lived with Ross and her mother Donna Deaves at their Watanobbi home on the NSW Central Coast.
She was found dead in August 2011.
“No one helped her while her tiny body was beaten.
“I just wish I knew.”
Mr Warrick asked Justice Stephen Rothman to consider a life sentence for Ross. He said the child’s mother as well as the system had failed the little girl. Ross’ lawyer asked Justice Rothman to be put him in protective custody in jail but Mr Warrick told reporters outside court “Tanilla had no protection”.

Last year the court heard evidence of the horrific violence Ross subjected Tanilla to for weeks which eventually killed the young girl.
Ross abused Tanilla as he tried to toilet train her, forcing her to run laps, whipping her with various implements and hitting her, the court was told.
Two children also gave victim impact statement, read on their behalf by someone else in court.
“You have done the baddest thing to have happened”, one child said. Another child said: “I’m scarred for life and I’m very very angry. “You should get a long time in jail.”
Ross had only been going out with Tanilla’a mother, Donna Deaves, for a couple of months when he decided to toilet train the little girl, subjecting her to prolonged and horrific abuse in the process.
Deaves has also been jailed over the death and gave evidence against Ross at his trial.
Several witnesses, including neighbours, described hearing Tanilla’s screams as she was punished, while her mother watched on.
Over 30 reports were also made to the Department of Community Services (DOCS) concerning Tanilla before her death, according Mr Warrick.
Ross will be sentenced in May.

A group of supporters wore pink T-shirts to court, Tanilla’ favourite colour, with a picture of the little girl and the words “stand up, don’t give up. Tanilla’s law” on them.“What did she did so bad for him to hurt her. Nothing, she was a defenceless child.
