Distressing pictures have been released showing Caylee Anthony's neglected memorial site that was meant to commemorate the little girl's life.
Caylee's body was found in 2008 and there is still no explanation for her mysterious death. Her mother Casey Anthony was cleared of her murder in 2011 but remains in court fighting defamation and bankruptcy charges. Zenaida Gonzalez - one of the witnesses in the original trial - is suing Anthony for defamation after Anthony told investigators a woman with that same name kidnapped Caylee in 2008.
And while Casey Anthony's legal and financial worries mount, the memorial site for her daughter sits abandoned and overgrown, with a fallen tree nearly destroying a cross erected to mark site where body was found.

Amid the dirty, moldy toys and trinkets that were left years ago, there are also a few new items that suggest people continue to visit the site.
The wooded area, located just around the corner from Casey Anthony's former home, is where Caylee's remains were found in 2008.
Over the years, people have come to the site to drop off toys, balloons, cards and other trinkets in remembrance of the young girl.
Years later, there was talk of building a memorial park in honor of Caylee, but the plans never came to fruition and the land has remained a wooded area.
It appears to be abandoned, and a large tree has fallen just feet away from the memorial. The tree still has a 'no trespassing' sign attached to it.

Tatty: A battered old monkey hangs off Caylee's memorial
Hope: There are new toys left by visitors who continue to honour the little girl's tragically short life
Amongst the newer items are a envelope marked 'Caylee' and a Tampa Bay Bucaneers stuffed bear - both of which look like they have been placed there recently.
Anyone who wishes to visit the memorial now must climb over the fallen tree or make their way through a thick overgrowth.
The future of her mother Casey Anthony remains unknown. Last week in court she refused to tell lawyers why she made up her story about Zanny The Nanny kidnapping her daughter Caylee and threatened to storm out of a new deposition released this week.
The mother was facing fresh questions from attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez, who is suing Anthony for defamation.
Gonzalez says the similarity of her name to Zanny The Nanny meant that some people thought she was to blame for Caylee's disappearance.
In the contentious January 23 deposition, Anthony claimed that Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez was someone she'd last seen in 2007 and who had baby-sat Caylee just once.
‘I met her at Universal Studios in 2006… through a mutual friend,’ Anthony said, adding: ‘We were friends a little over a year.’
Today a judge is set to hear arguments on whether Casey Anthony should be forced to answer questions about her daughter Caylee's disappearance.
Mixed messages: In the contentious January 23 deposition, Anthony claimed that Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez, the nanny she claimed had kidnapped her daughter, was a real person
