Casey Anthony may have a television interview already in the can, according to TMZ, after the celebrity website thinks it spotted the Florida woman – acquitted in 2011 of murdering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee – in New York City last week.

A TMZ video followed a woman who resembled Anthony walking through an airport with a man with white hair who repeatedly fired questions at the woman, calling her "Casey," but the woman never responded and appeared to purposely turn away from the camera repeatedly.

"Casey flew into (New York City) late Thursday," said TMZ. "Our photog had a strong feeling it was Casey, even though she denied it. But we figured out she's the real deal. The white-haired gent by her side is a PR guy who was negotiating an interview with the networks right after her 2011 acquittal."

"As we reported, Casey wanted cash and some networks were wheeling and dealing, but all got cold feet in the end. But now they're back and she's about to appear on TV for her first sit-down," said TMZ.

It would not be the first time the media has paid for access to Anthony. Anthony's trial attorney Jose Baez told TMZ that ABC News paid $200,000 for photos Casey and Caylee Anthony back in 2010, which was used for her legal defense.

Anthony was acquitted of murdering her daughter in a sensational televised trial.

Anthony filed for bankruptcy in 2013, telling a Florida federal court she owed $792,000, reported the Orlando Sentinel. A trustee's report to the court in February stated Baez, the Orange County Sheriff's Office and the Internal Revenue Service should not receive anything from a settlement in her case.

Baez said Anthony owes him $397,431, while the Orange County Sheriff's Office said it is owed $145,660; the IRS, $80,855; and Texas EquuSearch, the search-and-recovery group that combed Central Florida for Caylee in 2008, $100,000, according to the Sentinel.
