Can't post video

How can't embed a video from youtube. Worked once - but not now. It freezes up the preview and there is a red x in corner - like when image can't be found.

Yikes! I don't know, let me see....
Can other people see it, I wonder? I ask because I have used this type of board before and sometimes it happens that everyone else can see the video, but not the person that posted it, only sometimes. It's a little glitchy at times, but overall, it works beautifully. Lemme see what I can see.

You have to copy the embed line on Youtube. Did you change anything controls from the time I posted the fisrt video until now?

Ok, here's what to do. Don't use the EMBED code on youtube....use the http//address. Copy the http addy, then when you go to post, there is a little film-strip icon at the top of the message box. Click that and paste the http addy, then select youtube, or whatever the correct option is.....I think Google video and Daily motion are the other two options....and it will insert auomatically into your post. My trying to explain it makes it seem more complicated than it actually is. Sorry bout that.

Ok, this is how you do it

Go to the YouTube page,

pick the video you want,
copy the embedded url

click on the little thing that looks like a film clip when you're posting a message

insert the url
click "ok"

The straight embed worked the first time. But the film strip way is fine.
