Buffalo police are searching for a 15 year old girl and her one-week old child.

Tiffany Shepard and her one week baby Melina Lee Richards were last
scene Tuesday night along the 1,100 block of Michigan Avenue. Police spokesman Mike DeGeorge says they are very concerned about the
baby's safety. DeGeorge says it is a very "fluid" situation as they
search for the teen and child. The 15 year old mom is
described as a while female, about 5'5, 100lbs with short borwn hair
and freckles. She is also described as "boyish looking". Police are urging anyone with information to immediately call 911

A search has been launched for a missing teenager and her infant daughter.Buffalo police said Tiffany Shephard, 15, and her daughter, Melina Lee
Richards Shepard — who was born Aug. 17 — were last seen Tuesday
evening at 1171 Michigan Ave., at a facility designed for young,
homeless single parents. Tiffany is white, approximately 5 feet
5 inches tall and 100 pounds. She has short brown hair, freckles and is
described as "boyish-looking." Police said there is concern for the baby's safety. Anyone with information should call 911.

Buffalo Police say they believe they know the whereabouts of
a a missing 15-year-old mother and her one-week-old child. No further
information was released but police say there will be more details to
come.
The two were last scene on the evening of Tuesday, August 25th in the 1100 block of Michigan Avenue in Buffalo.
