COX Children - Boise ID

A Boise couple
is in jail today after Ada County Sheriff's deputies found four young
children living in deplorable conditions their Boise home Thursday
morning. Deputies served a search warrant at a home in
the 3800 block of Upland in Boise. It was there they found the children
to be living in imminent danger. Deputies say the home was filthy and
had urine and spoiled food throughout. Michael Roy Cox, 31, and Stacey Marie Cox ,33, were arrested and charged with felony injury to a child. They are accused of failing to care for their four young children. It
appears the children have suffered severe physical and sexual abuse.
They have been placed in the protective custody of the state. The couple was scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon.
