KARRIE LAWS - 14 yo - Grand Blanc MI

An Amber Alert has been issued for
a 14-year-old Grand Blanc girl who police say has been depressed and is
believed to be in extreme danger.Karrie Taylor Laws was last seen at 7:30 p.m. Friday along Northwood in Grand Blanc riding a white mountain bike with pink lettering, according to police.
Laws has blonde hair, blue eyes, weighs 150 pounds and is 5 feet 5. She was last seen wearing a long sleeve shirt and shorts.
Police are asking anyone with information to call 911 or Grand Blanc Police at 810-424-2611.

Heard back from the Chief of Police in her hometown...

There was an Amber Alert put out and she was located. She is with
family.

It was inadvertently missed that Karrie Laws was not taken out of LEIN. She was
found at approximately 6:30 am on Saturday 9/5/09 at a friend's house. Karrie
was taken home by our Officer and reunited with her family.

A 14-year-old Grand Blanc Township girl was found after an Amber
Alert was issued when she disappeared between 7-10 p.m. Sept. 4 near
Northwood Road and Meadow Walk Boulevard.
Family called police after the girl, who had gone on a bike ride, hadn't been heard from her for a couple hours.
The Amber Alert was issued at 1:20 a.m. Sept. 5.
Later, a relative contacted the girl on MySpace and discovered where
she was going. Police found the girl at a friend's house on Fenton
Road, unharmed.
The girl told police she packed clothes and hid them outside before she rode away on her bike.
